I think Montario Hardesty should be #36. first game back… Hillis hurting… will Hardesty make a push for even more playing time?

Is Kendall Hunter > Delone Carter just based on speed? Carter was announced as the #2 in Indy and could get good numbers for his first year similar to what Brown did last year.

Do we really see Hunter replacing Gore in a year or two? Would he need to bulk up to 210+?

Thinking out loud I see Addai leaving sooner than Gore…

    Opinions?

Delone Carter is just a guy. Hunter is a special combo of speed and quickness. He should be the 49ers third down back from day one and should develop a full time role similar to Brian Westbrook’s style. Don’t sell him short because he is short, think of Westbrook, Barry Sanders, MJD, Ray Rice.

I think you’re grossly inflated Hunter’s value. If he was as good as you say he is, he wouldn’t have been taken in the 9th round.

The truth is more likely that if Gore was to be injured/leave, Hunter would be part of a committee feature Dixon or another power back. Hunter is not physcially capable of being an everydown back.

Try 4th round. Oh, and Tom Brady agrees with you that if Hunter was drafted late, then he is no good. Because NFL teams never make a mistake. With your logic, no need to worry about drafting Tony Romo, Antonio Gates, Marques Colston or Arian Foster.

Hadn’t heard that F.Jax is the starter for week 3 preseason game. Too bad. Thought that BUF was finally giving Spiller his shot.

    • Jim says:

Finally? He’s only in his second year and has shown mediocre ability at best running between the tackles. Last season, both Spiller and Lynch were listed ahead of Jackson on the initial depth chart. In fact, Spiller was named the week one starter and responded with 6 yards on 7 carries. So he’s already had his shot once already.

All FJax does is produce, and every year the Bills don’t seem to appreciate what they have right in front of them.

Maybe that’s changing, as Chan Gailey himself said Jackson would start this weekend: http://proplayerinsiders.com/fred-jackson-still-buffalos-starter/

Absolutely correct Jim. Spiller has had the opportunities and failed with them. And for some reason Buffalo has been trying to chase out there most productive back for the past few years. RB stats that matter for the last 5RBs –
        FJax:4.4ypc (S.JAX 4.2/LT 4.3)
        Spiller:3.8ypc
        Lynch:3.9ypc
        Mcgahee:4ypc
        Henry: 3.9ypc

I can’t decide on which 2 TEs to keep in my dynasty league. I have Dickson, Hernandez and Olsen.I had Olsen and Hernandez and picked Dickson up in the draft before preseaon started. I was sure I was gonna cut Olsen when I made the pick. Now, not quite sure.

Hernandea and Olsen would be my two keepers. More talent, more proven. Also – word in Baltimore is Dickson will be used more to block this year to help out the shaky OL.

How about the player #36. The Harry Douglas watch. I know fantasy managers wish/want Julio Christ to be the next everything, but Before harry blew out his ACL he was ATL’s darling.

I think Harry’s going to cut into Julio’s targets alot more than people think – at least the big field stretching ones.
