Jordy Nelson could also be on the rise for 2011. James Jones is a free agent after this season and may or may not be back. Also, do you see Jerome Harrison going to a team where he could have some value in at least a timeshare? He is definitely more talented than to merely be a backup/handcuff. I could see him going to Miami to make a good duo with Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams. It sounds as though one of the two will not be back with the Dolphins next season, as they are both free agents.

    Tight Ends?

I for one will be very interested to see where guys like Graham and Gresham fall next year once the “elite” level names return from injury. Gresham I think is particularly interesting should Cincinnati cut ties with the T.Ocho show. I believe he has the skillset to be a leading offensive weapon in a system without “elite” (did I just use that word?) I meant “mercurial” receivers.

I also feel you are selling too quickly on Pierre Thomas and C.J. Spiller. The Saints have to know what Chris Ivory is all about, but even Ivory didn’t have the same explosive running style that Thomas displayed, when finally healthy, on Monday Night. Maybe it is a sign of fresh legs, but I can’t see New Orleans going away from Thomas just yet and handing the reigns to a still growing Ivory.

As for Spiller, well I think his numbers are not reflective of how he actually played. The Bills were really only blown out of four games this year, an impressive feat considering the level of talent on that team. Spiller has had fewer than 100 touches so far this season and missed 2.5 games with an injury. Fred Jackson “ain’t no spring chicken neither.” I feel Spiller will prove his worth in time (two words: Darren McFadden) and it would be a mistake to cut and run until he has really had an opportunity to succeed (or fail).

I would also temper expectations for Peyton Hillis considering how he has ended the season with a relative whimper. Montario Hardesty, when healthy, is a gifted back and has much to prove going into next year. I can easily see a scenario where Hills begins the season as the starter but yields a majority of the touches as the season goes on to Hardesty.

does Ryan Mathews’ performance today change his stock at all in your eyes?

Absolutley. It was a game that he really needed. DLF has a team in an experts league with Mathews and a game like this does show what he’s capable of. Of course, one year doesn’t make a back like Mathews a bust, but it is nice to see a good stat line.

I agree…I drafted Mathews #2 overall and it was nice to see what he’s capable of after giving me virtually nothing in year 1.

What do you think of the Green Bay RB situation? Does Grant resume his role next year? Will Starks get a shot? Does BJackson go back to 3rd downs?

Ryan Grant is not the answer in Green Bay. Take a look at it, they have great WR’s in Jennings, Jordy Nelson and James Jones, Aaron Rodgers is an elite QB, Jermichael Finley will be back. What do they need on offense? An elite RB. They like to develop their own players, so I look for them to address that in the draft for 2011, even tho 2011 RB’s look sparse.

Jackson is more complete than most think, and was not given enough carries most games to get rolling and had TD vultured by Kuhn.

Starks is a beast who has battled injuries and looks to compete next year, unless they find a diamond or get DeAngelo we will have a camp battle that Grant wins and loses fast (to injury mist likely)….Starks is the guy to have, B-Jax could surprise after an above average but not great starting debut.

I know that some people will be viewing Fitzgerald as falling. If anyone sees him as a WR outside the top 5 from a dynasty perspective, buy. He’s easily among the top 2 or 3 WR talents in the NFL. He is also a player who maintains himself in a manner that will bring you quality production for another 8 years easily.

So I just won the first pick in our losers bracket. My problem now is at WR as I have a loaded backfield. Does anyone see Britt, Manningham, Crabtree, or Hester as an rising. I think Britt is, I have Marshall, Jones, and Plax but will trade my #1 for a stud, that said I’d love to be able to draft Luck. Thanks

I see Britt on the rise with Young on his way out. However, with Collins at QB you have to question the long term value of Britt. The Titans 2011 QB draft pick will solidify this.

Manningham and Crabtree are both definitely on the rise, Crabtree can;t go but up, and Nicks/manningham are a better compliment with Steve Smith in his natural Slot. Britt also has tons of talent if he can put it together.

Your WR core is not bad at all, especially if Crabtree reaches the elite status he should have this year.

and with Luck returning go Green or julio Jones, I prefer the latter but you can’t go wrong with either.

I am in a 20 team Dynasty League and Finished 8th. I have Fitzgerald and Steven Jackson. I have been offered a 1st and 2nd round pick from another manager (15th and 35th) and both his 1st and 2nd round picks for next year. Should I make a move on this? I hate to give up both guys, but I like that I can package several picks together to hopefully get other talent.
