Schaub if you have a team to win for 3-4 years. Better pieces right now.

I’ll take Schaub. People quickly forget that Schaub was valued two years ago like Philip Rivers is right now.

Freeman has throw for over 4000 yards at least twice for me to even consider it

If you have a title contender and don’t have an elite QB on board, I’d want Schaub. For almost any other situation, I’d take Freeman. It’s team dependent and I’m guessing for most teams, I’d rather have Freeman.

Matt Schaub is way to inconsistent to be a reliable Keeper League QB. He should that last season. I honestly would take Josh Freeman this season. Josh Freeman last year showed flashes of brilliance. Provided there is no lock out Freeman is a better long term keeper in keeper leagues.

Eh, give me Freeman. He had a great season last year and is still getting better, as are his weapons around him. Besides in the Schaub argument it seemed like you were reaching to find reasons, not actual facts.

Mike Williams is still a character risk? Really? Mind explaining how? He’s been the model citizen/teammate/player since being drafted. Eager to learn, around at every team function, hungry to get better. He had an unfortunate situation at Syracuse but if you followed him closely coming out you saw a guy who wasn’t a character risk.

Schaub is a great QB, but still has injury concerns that you wonder about.

In that I have both in a 16 team Dynasty league, I agree complety with both arugements. :) . I however have no idea week to week as to which one I will start.

I have both in a dynasty league and have the perfect scenario. I have Schaub at a decent salary for two more years. I’ve got Freeman on my “farm” team for one more years, then up to four years after. I will have the stability of Schaub this year and then the opportunity to get something for him just as Freeman plunges into his prime. Seeing that I’ve got Foster and Andre Johnson to boot (no, I’m actually a huge Packer fan who got the best value with guys on the same team), I like my prospects at QB for a long time. Nice piece!
