In a non-PPR league where throwing td’s are worth 4 points, I am starting Eli Manning and have Jon Kitna on the bench. Who should I go with?

trying to win my way into two championship games this week end, in the first league 3 rcpt = 1 pt 1 yd = .1 pt. starting chris johnson at one rb, which 3 i should start with him {we can start 2rb/2wr or 1 rb/3wr}, roddy white, greg jennings, steve johnson, dwayne bowe, jahvid best, or tashard choice, a couple weeks ago this was a good problem, now given some qb situatuions there are some issues.

my other league, 2 rcpt = 1 pt, 1 yd =.1. which 3 wr should be in my lineup along with vick, foster and mccoy ; calvin johnson, tb williams, mike wallace, or steve johnson

    thanks for your opinion

Tough. Cold weather in GB and backup Flynn going. I’d go with White, Johnson and Bowe myself. You might consider Best for Johnson but Best has been a non-factor.

      Bench Stevie Johnson.

    Need 2 RB standard scoring:

Torain – Dallas could give up the runs
Blount – Tough runner against DET D
McCoy – Tough matchup, but may lean on the running game
Forte – Againse MIN D and weather may dictate a running game
Brandon Jackson – Not a good choice IMHO
    P. Thomas – Ivory out

    Thanks…

2 RBs standard scoring (another league):

Mendenhall – Tough game, but he got me here
    Blount – Smash mouth
    M. Bush – Not a good pick in my opinion
    R. Jennings – Sleeper & Indy allows the runs, but behind MJD

    3 WRs:
    Welker – Lock
    A. Johnson – Lock
    H. Nicks – current pick but Garcon is tempting
    M. Manningham
    P. Garcon

    I sat V. Jackson – Dohhh! 29 pts

Dynasty keeper question for you: it’s time to officially cut bait with driver…question is would you pick up matt flynn or Marion barber? I have Rodgers and choice so I have ties to both positions…

    1/2 ppr, thanks

My only other cut I could make for either of those guys is Mike Goodson, but I also have JStew so as it stands now, I have carolina backfield covered in a case of injury (I think DWill is not gonna be resigned)…

I wouldn’t cut bait on Goodson, I like him quite a bit and have since he came out. He’s always been an oft-injured player which is what dropped his draft stock, but he’s a dynamic runner. I’m guessing that DWill will be franchised, but will be traded. They won’t just release him because they won’t get any compensation for him.

I wouldn’t rush out to get Flynn. He had a nice game but Rodgers is the guy and Flynn has a long way to go to get snaps. Barber is the better of the two and will likely be playing elsewhere next year.

I am gonna hold onto Goodson I think…but debating Driver vs Barber…which one would you rather have in 1/2 PPR dynasty next season?

I’d go with the youth of Barber … relatively that is. I think it’s 50/50 that Driver even comes back and it’s obvious that Jones needs to be the WR2

Week 16 lineup question – only putting it on this thread so I dont forget! .5 PPR – thanks guys!!!

    1. Pick one: Owen Daniels or Vernon Davis?
    2. Pick one: Steven Jackson or Peyton Hillis (my other confirmed starters are MJD and Ray Rice). Leaning towards Sjax given the matchup of Hillis, though he torched Baltimore for 180 yards and a score week 3… Just seems like defenses have figured him out.
    3. Pick one (flex): Fred Jackson (vs NE), Matt Forte (vs NYJ), Tashard Choice (vs AZ) or Sidney Rice. Leaning towards Forte or Choice, and I am hoping with the short week that Felix Jones doesn’t play so I can start Choice. AZ defense run def is horrid and DAL is likely to get out to a lead and I would hope they would lean on the run. Starting any RB against the Jets scares me (Forte). I think NE is going to jump out way ahead of Buff early and they are going to abandon the run, which doesn’t bode well for Fred Jackson. Sidney Rice didnt get any looks with Webb and Donald Brown, well, he is Donald Brown…

Tough call, but I’d go with Jackson.

Wow, just found James Jones on waivers. Would you go James Jones over Forte (assuming Rodgers plays)?

I’d still play Forte’. I love Jones for 2011 and he was one of my top pick-ups for 2010 considering his future in GB as I believe he’ll be the #2 full time next year. But he’s still too inconsistent in his current role. Go with the guaranteed touches.
