Shop DLF is Open for Business

We’re very excited to announce the grand opening of “Shop DLF.”  This online merchandise store features various DLF items you can purchase to help support Dynasty League Football.  Here are a few questions you may have…

What can I buy?

We were able to design a wide variety of items, from T-shirts to cutting boards. We’ve spent the last few weeks coming up with lots of different options and maximized what we could offer. Clothing items are available for men, women or children. We also worked hard to find a way to provide some beverage steins and other items! We sincerely hope you find the designs attractive and feel we have a lot to offer. You may be surprised at a couple of the shirts we have, too.  They’re, well, “customized to our forum,” I guess you could say.

Why open a store?

We’re a pretty simple operation right now. Our goal from day one back in 2006 was to be the premier provider of FREE dynasty related fantasy football information. For us to continue to grow and evolve, we’d like to add some additional tools and applications for our dedicated followers. Unfortunately, those all cost money to create. We’re trying to find ways to generate that income without making any part of the site subscription based.

We also have an amazing group of followers – many of whom have been here from the start and have asked for us to find a way to provide something like this. As always, we strive to do what our loyal members want. We’ve always said this is YOUR site, not ours. We welcome your suggestions as always!

How much are you making on these items?

It’s a fair question people may have and we’re going to be very up-front about the answer. After much consideration, we stand to make no more $2 on any one item. So, not much! We’re hoping it adds up eventually so we can offer some additional value to you. In the end, it’s just as important to us to get our name out there and find a way for our followers to support us that won’t break their collective banks.
